Silver Lake Pizza

I have been to Silver Lake Pizza twice and the food is delicious and the service is amazing. On my last trip I came from the airport and it was after they closed - I called and the owners son waited for me for about 30 minutes. He saved a chicken roll and some pizza. Offered me a free bottle of water and cookies and just knew what I needed after a long flight. This is now my go to pizza spot after flights coming into westchester airport. a++++++

I don’t know why I did not take a photo of the pizza , but this is by far the best pizza I have ever had in my life!

I stopped by here on my way home from work was helped by some little guy who emerged from behind the counter like he had been personally offended by every pizza ever made. I'm not sure if his name was Freddy or Frankie whatever it was. I ordered a pepperoni slice, the slice literally looked like it had lost a fight with a ceiling fan. It came out 20 minutes after I was at the counter waiting. The cheese was hanging off one side, the crust was somehow both burnt and undercooked, and the pepperoni looked stale. When I POLITELY asked if the slice was fresh, that same guy squinted at it and replied, “Fresh enough for government work.” Things only got worse, there was some large woman who appeared to be a powerlifter of some sort. She was helped BEFORE me and cut the line. She was thanking the team for a "donation" of some sort. I don't know if this is code for illegal activity but seemed very off putting to me. It seems like if you're a regular in this joint you get all the special perks. As for me, I still wish Michaelangelos was open down the street. Theres far better slices in White Plains with no favoritism!

Living in Silver lake meant that Silver Lake pizza was a staple. In my opinion, they shine through their pizza. I typically order an original or margarita, both of which are delicious. They are great for a last minute need and the food there is always fresh. I do wish that there was an enhanced consistency in their pizza, but overall my family loves and relies on this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual but delicious pizza place.

As a pilot, I’m all over the country. This was one of the best pizzas, service, and atmosphere I’ve been in. The food was incredible, and the service really takes care of you. Everyone is extremely nice, and they take their time to help you decide what food to get from their great and diverse menu.
